The southernmost ghat at the Assi–Ganga confluence, famed for the dawn Subah-e-Banaras aarti.
Assi Ghat marks the southern end of Varanasi's riverfront, where the Assi rivulet meets the Ganga. A favourite of students, pilgrims and travellers, it comes alive each dawn with the Subah-e-Banaras aarti, yoga and classical music beneath an ancient peepal tree.
