Waking Vishwanath before dawn
Before the temple opens to the general queue, the Mangala Aarti welcomes Lord Shiva at the start of his day with lamps, bhog and mantra. Devotees believe a darshan at this hour, in near-empty stillness, carries special merit. Entry is by limited paid ticket — arrange it ahead.
